There was a math test today... I KNOW I failed.

December 16

Test tomorow mostly on rational expressions. And "everything" Exercises 42, 43, 44, 47, 51, 52, 53. The first few questions we can do to study.

December 15

There will be a test on Thursday. <- On everything.. We did mental math and handed it in to get recorded. Then we did some cube thing with those blocks. And got an assignment.

December 11th

Today there was a retest. I didn't take it though, I just worked on accelerated math.

December 10th

Today we did mental math. I didn't do so good. Then we did a geometry activity thing. I finished it

December 9th

We did more solving of rational expression equations. I missed most of it because of a jazz concert. I didn't come in until about 11:20? Theres a retest tomorow but I don't think I'll take it because I haven't figured out radicals yet. But I will over the holidays. Exercise 52 #1-9 Exercise 53 #1-10 He's doing a hw check b4 the holidays on it.

December 8th

Today we did crazy stuff on the board (rational expersions) that one question I did not understand! Exercise 51 1-10 are assigned. Retest is on Friday.

December 7th

Test next week on Thursday on everything he's done for like the last couple weeks. 30 or 31st of December we can come into the school and scan some stuff and print more work if we're doing math over the holiday. We did some simplifying and multiplying and dividing together on the board thing all class. Then worked on accelerated math & accumulated exercises.

December 4th

We learnt some about simplifying rational expressions. Exercise 47 #1-8 has been assigned

December 3rd

The test today was optional I didn't write it. But I worked on my accelerated math. I think in a couple weeks I'll have to write a test that will have some trignomotry on it.

December 2nd

The test tomorow is still optional. We're spending this class studying for it.

December 1st

There is an optional test this thursday on trig. We do have to write this test sometimes before christmas or like next week I think. I would write this test but I just dont understand that one Law of Cosine. I tried to go to tutoring last night but it was cancled. And I have jazz tonight. Tomorow I'll go to tutoring and if I understand Cosine by then I'll write the test.

November 30th

Today we learnt about non permissibles. Non permissible values is like when your trying to find out what x ISN'T. And that we only have like 35 days left? Exercise 43. Questions 1-9 Due tomorow. I dont understand the Law Of Cosines forumlas but I'm going to tutoring tonight.

November 24th

Today we learnt Law of Cosines and Sines. Exercises 19 and 25 are due by the end of the week. First 6 questions.

November 23rd

Today we just did test corrections. If we do a retest. He'll split the difference for us

November 20

First we did mental math then went over the test corrections. We're finishing them on monday and I'm gonna try and finish some more exercises this weekend.

November 16th

We did mental math and then started working on trignometry. Talked about right triangles (a^2 + b^2 = c^2) CAPITALS always mean points or verticies. lowercase always mean side length. Theta is the angle we're talking about, talked a bit about cosine, tangent & hypotenouse. Pythagorean Triples >> 3, 4, 5 5, 12,17 pythagorean triples must have 3 whole numbers. We also made a spread sheet but i duno how to do that.

FRIDAY THE 13TH

Short block. Did someones accelerated math on radicals as a class. I understand it pretty good.

November 12

Today we did mental math after that it was a working period.

november 9th

We did rationalizing of denominators today (part 2). I understand it. I could understand it better with more practice. I didn't correct my math test yet. I dont really know how to so I'll probably go to tutoring today..

All we did today was mental math. There was a peprally so we missed most the class for it.

Nov. 2nd

We did a few radical kinda things on the board together. I understand it pretty good. I just need to get caught up on the lessons befor this and accelerated math. My mom got me a tutoror, Janel. And I'm sapose to go to her house after school whenever I need help. SO, thats probably gonna happen like everyday till I finish Accelerated. Still workin on Exercise 21...

We did mental math today. I'm gonna try and finish my accelerated math exercise for monday so I can do a test

Today we did the 'joke sheet' I understand it pretty well I think I just need to catch up on my Accelerated Math.

October 21

Today we did a test prep we went over perpendicular and parallels

October 22

Today we did mental math then did a few questions together than we didnt understand from exercises 11 12 and 13. We have a test on wednesday so tomorow we'll get our tests back from the last test to go over the old stuff.

October 16

Today we went over 2 different ways to do linear equations, mostly standard. Mr. M showed us a really cool math program

October 9

Today we did mental math then went over straight lines, then mr m, enlighted us that the USA may someday, take over canada and possibly the world. Then we worked on our own for the rest of the class.

Sept. 30th

Today we learnt how to measure distance. I kinda got it but I'll understand it better after more practice.

Today we did a test prep for the test tomorow. The test is on: muliplying polynomials, factoring polynomials, and dividing binomials. (exercises 1, 2, 3)
